Schutzhund caught my eye in the early 1990’s with my first rottweiler, Kiki’s Jet. Jet and I never made it out to the club in Saskatoon, but I do remember seeing them train and thinking that someday I would like to try the sport. Fast forward ten plus years to a different location and a different rottweiler: Prince Edward Island and CH. Kleinedler’s Dificult to Decide (aka Cye). Cye is neither a working dog nor a GSD and is not overly motivated (his best exercise is the long down!), but with a lot of patience and perseverance from both us, Cye has earned his BH, Tracking I and II titles.
